Austin

We took Miss Audrey on her first trip to Austin. She was great! We met up with good friends for our first official CPL (College of Pastoral Leaders) group meeting. We applied for a grant through Austin Seminary to be one of their CPL cohort groups. Our application was received and approved with much excitement. We are the first group of our kind. All 6 of us are PCUSA clergy and we each almost have 2 kids. (One coming in May). We will meet several times over the next two years through the College for study, renewal and family time. All of us were seminary classmates and we are looking forward to taking this journey together as we explore what it is like to be clergy families as we balance growing families with our ministries. We are a pretty eclectic group 1 solo pastor, 3 associate pastors, 1 Presbytery pastor and 1 Hospice Chaplain. ^ kids 2 three year olds, one 6 month old, 2 7 week olds and one babe due in May!

Eric and Zanna have been best buds since infancy and it is fun to see them play together now. They are two peas in a pod and LOVE being together.

Miss Audrey and Miss Madelyn share the same birthday. They are one hour apart!!

We will gather again in November for study and time together. We are reading a few books on ministry and the theology of parenthood and we will get together to discuss them. AND of course, get together to let the kiddos play. I can't wait to see how they change in 6 months. Another baby will be there and the baby girls will be sitting if not crawling!! :)
